The National Youth Fund Jantje Beton was founded on the second of April 1968 by a number of local organisations in the field of community and neighbourhood development and youth work. Their goal was to raise extra funds with facilities for youngsters that don’t qualify (enough) for allowances.
It is very important for Jantje Beton that children to play in their free time. Children are happy when they play. They also gain experience that is essential for their development. That’s why we pay so much attention to children that might be oppressed by certain circumstances, for living in an underdeveloped neighbourhood. Jantje Beton wants to prepare especially these children for participating actively in our society. By letting children play together, we learn them how to live together!
"We therefore support thousands of children farms, club houses, playgrounds, activities of youth houses and many more. It involves children that hardly ever have a day off or go on holidays, because of their financial situation at home, for instance."

For Jantje Beton, Nxs services the hosting of jantjebeton.nl, among other services. The website is hosted on a Managed Virtual Server on the VMware ESX cluster of Nxs Internet. By means of the clustering build of this environment, malfunction of one or more of the servers in the clustered setup, doesn't affect the functioning of the virtual machines. The lost capacity is automatically being restored by one or more of the servers in the cluster. On top of it all, the environment is monitored 24 hours a day by the monitoring software. Incidents will be notified by SMS to the system engineer on duty.

"We like the services of Nxs Internet. All of our domains are now grouped. We are pleased with the pro-active support of the helpdesk. The only technical possibility that I lack of, is the possibility to put a site/domain temporarily offline. In other words, a link to a page on the Nxs Internet servers. The removal of our websites was impeccable. We first transferred a smaller site. At the moment of delivering a new connection to our office, we have transferred the remaining sites."
An example of the helpdesk quality is that our e-mail wasn’t accepted in two places. Inquiry with the other provider by the receiving party lead up to nothing. So I called to Nxs Internet and ask them if they could help me. And in spite of the fact that the problem wasn’t entirely Nxs Internet’s, I was helped. The helpdesk could explain me the problem, and within 24 hours all mail problems were solved."
