After the installation of CuteFTP the connection wizard is opened immediately. Enter a name for the connection first. You can decide this name yourself. If you already installed CuteFTP, open the wizard with the key combination ctrl+j.

Next, enter the server name.

In the next screen, enter a standard folder which will be opened after connecting. Enter a folder on your computer in “local folder” and a folder on the ftp server in "remote folder".

You have now entered all data for connecting with the ftp server. If you choose “finish”, you will be connected immediately.
